The Opportunity Groups for the Indivisible Guide will be reporting their progress to us and we will break into small groups to discuss further actions. The plan is aimed at making our voices heard to Rep. Mimi Walters and in the media. The groups are: Town Halls and other Public Events, Office Visits, Mass Calls and the OC Board of Supervisors (on which there is not one Dem!).
So, do you want to do all you can to affect politics in Orange County and D.C.? Then join us on Feb. 5! We won’t have wings or sandwiches like at a Super Bowl party, but we’ll have light refreshments and you will be with people to whom you can vent your frustrations! More importantly it will make you feel better to know you are doing something positive. To quote President Obama: “Remember: America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We the People.’ ‘We shall overcome.’ Yes, we can.”
